- Authors

- Abstract
The article presents a case study of a 32-year-old woman who was introduced with acute head injury, confusion, and alcohol intoxication. Due to agitation and history of violence, the patient was recommended for soft wrist restraints and the Posey vest; however, the physician ordered that the restraints be replaced with a sitter since it is contributive to the patient's anxiety. The article discusses the ethical aspects of using restraints and its contribution to the patient's quality of life.
