- Abstract
The article discusses the general features, clinical assessment, diagnosis, and treatment of herpes zoster and hypertension. Herpes zoster's diagnosis is based on clinical presentation and can be treated with antiviral treatment that decreases the duration and severity of pain as well as the shedding of the virus. On the other hand, hypertension needs a twenty-four-hour ambulatory monitoring and can be treated with beta-blockers or by some combination therapy.
