The article focuses on proposing a social justice framework, the Inclusive Editing Paradigm (IEP), to address the lack of inclusive practices in technical editing, utilizing the 3Ps heuristic of positionality, and power. It reports that current technical editing literature leans towards linguistic conformity to American Standard English (ASE), neglecting linguistic diversity, and suggests strategies through the IEP to challenge this linguistic hegemony for more inclusive editing practices.
