- Abstract
An interview with Patricia J. Sulak, a medical doctor (MD) and Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology, is presented. When asked about the combined oral contraceptive (COC) that offers the best benefit profile for most women, he refers the reduced risk for ovarian and endometrial cancers and decrease in formation of ovarian cysts. Sulak cited that the formula for the original 21/7 cyclical regimen was created to mimic the average menstrual cycle of 28 days.
