- Abstract
The article presents the results of a research on the role of nitric oxide and calcium ions in the regulation of hydrolytic activity of tonoplast H+-pyrophosphatase in plant vacuolar membrane. The research aims to determine the changes in the hydrolic activity of H+-pyrophosphatase in the presence of nitric oxide and calcium. Results reveal more than 164% increase in the hydrolic activity which signifies their significant role in the regulation of the transport processes.
