- Authors

- Abstract
The article focuses on isokinetic tests and endurance tests of the ankle. It discusses about a simple heel-raise endurance test that was developed in Stockholm, Sweden, many years ago. In that test the patients had to lift their heel over a certain height that is marked by a light-beam, 5 cm above the ground. The patients were asked to perform a heel-raise exercise at a frequency of 40 heel-raises per minute. This was indicated to the patients with a metronome. Using a specially constructed electronic device, only heel-raises over 5 cm were registered.
