- Abstract
Despite the fact that the art maqama was transferred to Andalusia from the Eastern Arabian geography, the Andalusians did not comply with the first methods of the art of maqam, whose foundations were laid in the East, and they changed some of the rules, and later, by influencing the East, they carry away to the East their new maqama style, which they formed from the combination of two different types of prose, maqama and risala. We conceptualize this phenomenon, which we have identified in Andalusian maqama art, as the mixing of prose types in Andalusian maqama. In this study, by tracing the reasons behind this phenomenon, which is understood to be neglected in academic studies despite its importance in Andalusian and Eastern literatures, we will reveal the nature of the relationship about the art of maqama between Andalusian and Eastern literatures, which manifests itself in the form of being influenced and influenced, and we will determine the characteristics of the maqama of the Andalusians. Thus, it has been tried to reach a conclusion about whether this mixture is a general or an exceptional situation in terms of Andalusian makam art and whether there are makams in Andalusia that are suitable for the Eastern makam understanding.
