- Abstract
This article discusses the migration of Kirschner wires (K-wires), a commonly used orthopedic implant, into the spinal cord as a cause of long-term neurological problems. The article presents a case study of a 36-year-old patient who experienced neurological symptoms due to the migration of K-wires into the spinal canal. The article highlights the diverse clinical manifestations of this complication and emphasizes the importance of timely extraction of migrated implants. The authors also provide practical recommendations for the management and diagnosis of this condition.
