- Abstract
In 1959, Eugenio Asensio made public the discovery of Diego Moreno, an interlude attributed to Quevedo in a Portuguese manuscript belonging to the Biblioteca Distrital of Évora. This manuscript also includes other short dramatic plays by don Francisco, which means an increase of his works with the titles: Bárbara (in two parts, as the first interlude), La polilla de Madrid, La vieja Muñatones and La destreza. This manuscript also shows other plays, already copied in other printed or handwritten testimonies, such as La venta or Los enfadosos (also known as El zurdo, in other manuscript, o El zurdo alanceador, in a printed suelta). The author believes the nine plays belong to Quevedo, due to the date of this manuscript.
