The authors reflect on research about the consideration of neurocognitive impairment as a cancer-related sickness behavior symptoms. Topics discussed include the recognition of cancer-related cognitive impairment (CRCI) as a clinical problem, the inability of the study's authors to account cancer-related stress, and the activation of proinflammatory cytokine networks.
