- Abstract
This article analyzes the martyrdom of a Levite named Taxo and his relationship with the Nuntius, the God's messenger, in the "Testament of Moses." "The Testament of Moses" is a prophecy attributed to Moses which contains his final instructions to his successor Joshua and is classified as a testament. Compared to other members of the priesthood, Taxo lacks sin. The nuntius is identified as a priestly angel who is sometimes portrayed as a priest.
