- Abstract
The article focuses on the factors of gender gaps in depression. It states that women are more likely to suffer depression than men because they are more prone to anxiety because of their attitude to ruminate on various things. It mentions various biological factors that make women suffer depression including hereditary, hormones, and stress. It says that there are several treatment options to manage depression such as antidepressants and psychotherapy, which will be much beneficial if combined. INSET: Prenatal and postpartum depression.
