- Abstract
The article discusses the role of Avaaz.org, an independent nor-for-profit organization which advocates and ensures the views and values of the people to reach and inform the world for global decision making. It notes their strategy in the advocacy of media activism, which has divided into three forms of endeavor namely, to change the media, create new media, and change the audience. The organization has considered a tactic of advocacy in which senior journalist will be working with editors and reporters to explore the organizations scope and to change the way their job should be done or the approach of their task. They have also been working with the Reporting the World, a journalism think-tank based in London, England which also centers on stories about conflicts.
