- Abstract
Speech, sermon, rhetoric, conversation, eloquence, oratory ... many terms try to describe one of the most wonderful human qualities and activities, after which the man differs from other animal species. In human terms, the word is a source of power with whose help it names and understands. Without speech, the civilization would not exist, because civilization is based on interaction, and this action is not possible without the ability of people to communicate with one another and convince themselves through conversation and spoken words. This ability happened slightly before homo sapiens and appeared even before the written history. It is not possible to prove when the people first talked in order to persuade their listeners. In any case, some skills and arts are older than they are thought to be. The speech can be said to be the foundation of every communication, the most important and most successful way of communicating between people. Speech is a means of understanding, sharing ideas, opinions and attitudes.
