The fundamental right of every citizen is his right to oppose a decision of any state body when he disagrees with it and claims that an injustice has been made to that decision. This paper deals with the means of striking, which is envisaged by the Republic of Kosovo legislation on decisions in contested procedure. It also comprises the elaboration of the common (regular) means of challenging the decisions in the contested procedure, namely the appeal, which includes the appeal against the verdict and the appeal against the decision, but not the extraordinary ones.
