- Abstract
The present study describes an interactive learning approach in teaching Bulgarian language like a native and literature in primary school. The aim of the study is to provide information about the most effective general interactive methods and to classify them into three groups: general interactive methods of selecting students to answer questions; general interactive methods of second chance testing and authorized "cheating" on in-class quizzes and general interactive methods of giving feedback. It'll be given an overview of modern teaching methods that are most widespread in the scientific and methodological literature and have the potential to be most effective in teaching Bulgarian language (like a native) and literature in primary school. Each of the selected and modified methods will be presented by indicating the materials that are necessary to be used by teacher, a description of how it is necessary to restructure the classroom environment, the section of discipline "Bulgarian language and literature", the type of lesson and/or the stage of the lesson on "Bulgarian language and literature", in which the interactive method will is most applicable, as well as a description of the methodological procedure that should be used by the primary school teacher to apply it in the educational process. In this scientific research are used methods of theoretical research - theoretical analysis and synthesis, analogy, comparison and classification, and survey research as a method of empirical research. The article discusses the willingness of future primary teachers (86 students from bachelor's degree programmes "Preschool and Primary School Education" and "Primary School Education and Early Foreign Language Learning") to use the general interactive methods that are selected, modified and presented in that article.
