- Authors
Raghavan, Raghu
- Abstract
The article presents a discussion on access to health services by people with learning disabilities from black and minority ethnic (BME) communities in Great Britain. Barriers that prevent these people from health services include knowledge of the services, language issues and religious belief. It is asserted that services should be sensitive to the culture and religion of these people.
