- Abstract
The article reports on the publication of a new guidance by the Council for Healthcare Regulatory Excellence (CHRE) to establish sexual boundaries between learning disability nurses and clients in Great Britain. The CHRE will monitor its nine regulators covering a wide range of professions including nursing and medicine. The CHRE guidance was welcomed by the David Congdon, head of campaigns and policy at Mencap, due to the vulnerability of people with disabilities on abuse and assault.
