- Title
Swansea's children's services.
- Abstract
The article discusses the poor provision of children's services in Swansea in Wales, as it is compared to Haringey, London, England. Gwenda Thomas, Deputy Minister for Social Government, has withdrawn her issued order to the effect of the findings that the City and County of Swansea Council had been in default of its responsibilities under the Children Act of 2004. Despite the sought substantial progress, further improvement had been pointed out, particularly on the intervention model.
