- Abstract
The article examines the history and irrationality regarding the conception of postmodernism in Europe. Francis Fukuyama's essay on the end of history is mentioned. The idea of the centrality of Western Europe is discussed including totalitarianism/authoritarianism as a manifestation of the postmodern era. The failure of western liberalism is taken into account, including the geopolitical implications of post-Soviet postmodernism. The transition from modern to postmodern and from postmodern to modern is considered.
