- Abstract
The article announces the victory of the ruling Congolese Labour Party (PCT) of the Republic of Congo in the 2012 general elections. A number of seats was won by independent candidates and the opposition Pan-African Union for Social Democracy (UPADS). A joint statement from opposition parties rejects the election results, alleging that the outcome was manipulated by the ruling party. A chart shows the results of the National Assembly Election.
