- Abstract
The article offers world news briefs. Clipper Group chief executive officer (CEO) Per Gullestrup says that Somali pirates are increasing prices for releasing hijacked vessels to about six million U.S. dollars. South Korea's Navy has transferred the rotating command of the anti-piracy international naval force operating off Somalia to Turkey. Three French crew members were abducted after their ship was attacked on the Addax oilfield off the Nigerian coast.
