NEEDED: A ONE EDUCATIONAL SYSTEM.
- Authors
Archer Jr., Chalmers
- Abstract
The day has come when it is necessary to view the educational process as one system, involving smooth, continuous, positive student advancement towards graduation. Society must necessarily accept the responsibility for thoroughly preparing students from their first day of school, through the highest level of education their ability and resources can take them. The four main levels of education must be looked upon, and utilized, as units working together to promote a smooth and efficient system. Some of the more serious areas addressed by this one system approach, includes reducing barriers to equal access, preventing students from dropping out of high school and college, and formative evaluation and research.
