Ecology of freshwater nematodes.

- Abstract
The last two chapters continue this theme by considering complex indices and procedures aimed at investigating the behaviour of nematodes at demographic (intraspecific), interspecific and finally at ecosystem level, I i.e. i , in relation to the other aquatic organisms. Instead, the new book (2021) edited by Walter Traunspurger, which is intended as a continuation of the 2006 book, is entirely devoted to the ecology of freshwater nematodes, but with a different slant. The following chapters deal with the ecology of nematodes in lakes and streams and with what we know about nematodes in extreme environments (hot and cold, underground, over-salted water, I etc i .).
