The article discusses the Electric Chair series of artist Andy Warhol in light of the legal discourse on capital punishment in the U.S. and on analyzing the dialogic relationship between art and law. The subjects that Warhol was intending to portray were represented through photographs and paintings, which seem to call attention to man's fascination with death particularly on the spectacle of capital punishment.
