- Abstract
The article discusses the facets of the modern U.S. workforce and gives advice on what qualities companies look for in job seekers. Organizations seek applicants with STEM (science, technology, engineering, mathematics) skills and are versatile. Many companies are faced with the option of hiring between experienced and more expensive employees or less experienced employees that require higher training investment. Entrants are advised to track their job growth, brand themselves and be ethical.
