- Abstract
This research aims to discuss the importance of intensionally including and assessment the gender sensibility in the teaching process. In the study, the inclusion was made by a physics teacher through a teaching learning sequence as part of a citizenship science curse for secondary education. To assess the gender sensibility in the teaching process, we validate the translation of a tool that considers three dimensions: Teacher's Attitudes and values, Teacher's practices and strategies and gender equality. The validation process was made of translation, translation synthesis, retrotranslation, experts constributions and consolitations and by parameters as internal consistency, stability and legibility. The evaluation of the whole class about the gender sensibility teaching process was categorized as high according to the intervals and levels proposed by the test. Also, this result was consistent with the teacher self assessment.
