- Abstract
The article offers the author's insights regarding delirium in older people. The author mentions that a prospective cohort study in 273 older patients admitted to hospital indicated that the use of Frailty Index in identifying frail patients could enable preventive measures to be directed on those at high risk of delirium. The author notes that the research team developed the Nottingham Hip Fracture Score (NHFS) examined its role in the prediction of discharge from acute hospital care.
