- Abstract
The article discusses the report on coated fabrics in the U.S. from the Freedonia Group. According to the report, the need for coated fabrics in the U.S. will elevate to nearly 4% annually to 635 million square yards in 2003. It states that these advancements will be stimulated by strong demand in the motor vehicle market, protective clothing and various miscellaneous markets. It discusses that coated fabric demand in the motor vehicle market is growing because of strong gains in fabrics used in automotive air bags.
