- Abstract
The article discusses the importance of European Union's Water Framework Directive (WFD) for the cost recovery of water services in the People's Republic of China (PRC). It examines the differences and similarities in recovering the costs of water service systems between the European Union (EU) and the PRC for legal solutions of water management. It outlines sever administrative fields for water policy including local political, economic and cultural characteristics.
