The article offers poetry criticism of the poem "Harvm Litterarvm Contemptori," by A.E. Housman. It explores the metrical features of the poem which include the periodic construction, the vowel and the polysyllabic endings in the pentameter. Critical interpretation of the poem as well as the meaning of various Latin phrases are provided by the author.
