- Authors

- Abstract
This article is written as a consequence of adopting new concepts and tools in finance which are developed and used widely in capital markets all over the world. Working in the industry sector and facing the important international contracts in volatile currencies, the authors realized that a lot of useful financial tools are never used to protect the volatility of the currencies hence protecting melting of the margins for the Bosnian companies. The article is conceptualised in the form of the case study analysing the particular case of Bosnian company doing business internationally. The main goal was to introduce the possibilities of market hedge in transition economies. Even though the basic hedging tools are considered the potential and emphasised need for hedging in these economies is obvious. Global trends refer to increased volatility of the world's most important currencies and the traders in transition countries need to be familiar with the available financial tools for protection.
