- Abstract
The article presents a randomised study which aims to measure the efficacy of a single dose of 2% moxidectin against Sarcoptes scabiei in sheep. Sarcoptic mange diagnosis was coherent with epidemiological data revealing that the kind of mange typically happens in winter. The study shows that the 1 milligram/kilogram (mg/kg) dose of moxidectin that reveals persistent effectiveness against Psoroptes ovis for 60 days.
