- Abstract
The article discusses the changes of transportation concurrency in the dense-urban land use areas (DULAs) after the passage of the Community Renewal Act of 2009 in Florida. Primarily, the applications of transportation concurrency was considered the most challenging practical implications of the development of community and local government. In this regard, the Act creates a statutory exceptions to the concurrency through automatic transportation concurrency exceptions areas (TCEAs) in DULAs.
