- Abstract
The article discusses the author's proposed solution for regulating the use of tasers (stun guns) by law enforcement officials in America as of 2015, and it mentions the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit case Abbott v. Sangamon County, Illinois which deals with an animal control officer's use of a stun gun to control a noncompliant individual. American statutes and judge-made law (case law) are examined, along with state laws and the relationship between law and technology.
