The article presents the case report of a male newborn with acute renal failure. His mother received a renal transplant 2 years before pregnancy with a diagnosis of idiopathic focal and segmental glomerulosclerosis. The newborn baby presented with reduced-sized hyperechoic kidneys with poor corticomedullary differentiation.
