- Abstract
The article is a transcription of the lecture "Risk, Ownership, Equity" given by Charles I. Kingson on January 22, 2011 in Boca Raton, FL at the 2011 Annual Meeting of the American College of Tax Counsel. In his lecture, Kingson praises tax litigator and former U.S. Solicitor General Erwin Griswold, discusses famous tax law cases, and emphasizes the importance of risk in tax law. Some of the famous cases he discusses include Helvering v. Gregory, Commissioner v. Court Holding Co., and Frank Lyon Co. v. United States.
