- Abstract
The article focuses on the effectiveness of enrollment interviews for potential patients and its resultant effect on doctor-patient relationship. Interviews were conducted on an individual family basis and subsequently in a group setting. The interview covered various aspects like family medicine, housekeeping, proactive care, team care and group and individual sessions. The prospective patients seemed to view it as an evidence of an organized approach to health care which was the main thrust of this approach. This introduction to the practice created patient confidence, understanding goodwill, all of which are essential to the success of any practice.
