- Abstract
The steady state studies of fluorescence quenching of excitation energy of heterocyclic compound namely 2‐bromophenyl boronic acid (2BPBA) by aniline was carried out in 1, 4 dioxane (DX), toluene (TL), methanol (ML), heptane (HP), nonane (NN), butanol (BL), and propanol (PL) solvents with a view to understand the role of quenching mechanism. The quenching process is studied in the selected solvents using steady state method by Stern–Volmer (S–V) plots having upward curvature.
