• Rising oil prices are dulling the outlook for global growth, which is forecast at 4.2 per cent a year in both 2011 and 2012.• World trade will rise by 7.8 per cent this year and 5.7 per cent in 2012.• Chinese GDP will grow by 9 per cent in 2011 and 8.1 per cent next year.• Despite the sovereign debt crisis, Euro Area GDP is expected to grow by 1.7 per cent this year and 2 per cent in 2012.• The American economy will grow by 2.6 per cent in 2011 and 2.7 per cent in 2012.• Japanese GDP will expand by 2.1 per cent this year and deflation will slacken from 1.5 per cent in 2010 to 0.1 per cent.
