- Abstract
The article presents a forecast of the Gross Domestic Product (GDP) growth in Great Britain for the years 2007 and 2008. It mentions that GDP will increase by 3.1 percent in 2007 and will decrease to 2.2 percent in 2008. It presents several graphs depicting the present and future trends of the real GDP growth, the output gap, and Consumer Price Index (CPI) inflation. An illustration of all the graphs is also provided. It mentions about the current market expectations and predicts a rise in interest rate expectations. It mentions that the Bank of England will increase the import prices in the coming years. It presents a forecast of several factors that effect the country's GDP, including the demand rate, public finances, income and saving, and supply rate.
