- Title
Analysis and Control of Loader Exhaust Noise.
- Abstract
In view of the problem of excessive noise radiated from the outside of a loader developed for the Brazilian market in the factory, the noise data of the original machine, the proportion of noise source contribution and the noise after connecting silencer are analyzed, and it is determined that the exhaust noise is the primary noise source. The structural forms of two silencers are compared, and the transmission loss and pressure loss of the two silencers are simulated and analyzed. The analysis results show that the volume ratio of the No.1 original silencer is too small and does not meet the requirements of the volume ratio, while the No.2 silencer meets the requirements of the volume ratio and has a better silencing effect, without the risk of exceeding the limit of the exhaust back pressure. The No.2 silencer is subjected to trial installation, testing and noise reduction effect evaluation. The test results show that the measured radiated sound power outside the machine is lower than that of the original machine and is lower than the noise limit value in Brazil, and the measured pressure loss is lower than the exhaust back pressure limit value of the engine.
