- Abstract
The coal tar processing technology and the principle of coal tar hydrogenation are introduced. The current research progress on production processes and catalysts in coal tar hydrogenation technology are reviewd. The summary, analysis, and comparison are conducted on three pre-treatment processes for coal tar hydrogenation, namely distillation+catalytic hydrogenation process, delayed coking+catalytic hydrogenation process, and full fraction+catalytic hydrogenation process, as well as reactors with different catalysts states. The influence of pretreatment processes and catalysts states in the reactor on the coal tar hydrogenation process is investigated, and the active metal blending and catalysts modification methods of hydrogenation catalysts are further sorted out, providing a certain reference for the optimization of processes and catalysts in coal tar hydrogenation technology. At the same time, the active metal deployment and catalysts modification are introduced, so as to give some reference for the selection of coal tar hydrogenation processes and the research of catalysts.
