- Abstract
With coining the concept on characterization of soil-deposited pesticide components, an expatiation was conducted about the significance of the relevant studies and methods along with the difficulties and prospect. Such kind of systematic researches can not only support case investigation and litigation through providing scientific basis for identification of the selected evidential soil materials but also help realize the soil quality management dynamically, therefore capable of supplying technical foundation for judging the crime of soil pollution. In this paper, the pesticide composition and content were analyzed with the soil from a China’s cherry-tomato planting-and-seeding base. Four kinds of pesticides, cyromazine, chlorothalonil, mefenoxam and malathion, were detected with gas chromatography-mass spectrometry (GC-MS). Additionally, both the position and depth of the soil extracted were tested of their effect on the pesticide residue. Consequently, a discussion was made on the outlook of inferring whereabouts, usage, applied time and specific comparison about the involved pesticides.
