- Abstract
The article presents legal developments in marketing regarding the regulation of channels of distribution, specifically the operating features of marketing institutions and exclusive dealing arrangements in relations between buyers and sellers. The case Affiliated Capital Corp. v. City of Houston et al., Gulf Coast Cable Television, and James J. McConn discusses an illegal horizontal allocation of territories involving cable television franchises. The case Jack Walters & Sons Corp. v. Morton Buildings, Inc. discusses company trademarks and illegal tying arrangements.
