- Abstract
The article discusses the article discusses the presence of symbols on the face of a rock outcropping near Grand Cess, Liberia, focusing on an investigation into who may have created the symbols and their purpose. Other topics include the potential for the symbols to be of European origin due to their nautical appearance, the appearance of some of the symbols in tattoos and scarifications among the Siglio, and the possibility that the symbols are an attempt to create a script for the local language.
