- Abstract
This article discusses a case report of a 65-year-old male who developed disseminated nocardiosis after a heart transplant. The patient was successfully treated with a combination of antibiotics, including tedizolid, for a total of 13 months. The article provides information about nocardiosis, its risk factors, and treatment options. It also highlights the potential benefits of tedizolid as a well-tolerated and effective alternative for long-term nocardiosis treatment. However, it acknowledges the lack of randomized clinical trials and the need for further research in this area.
