The article discusses the discovery of an estimated 1,000 rock art sites in north west Tanzania with around four different styles of art from different periods made by Twa hunter-gatherers or Batwa. It notes the rock paintings site located in a massive granite outcrop known locally as Kijashu that depicts geometric and animal paintings. It stats that the paintings include more circles, concentric circles and other geometrics along with more orange elongated stick figures.
