The article explores the outcome of a Russian Dual Language Immersion (DLI) program in public schools in Utah. It reflects on the commitment of Christina E. Kramer, professor of linguistics at the University of Toronto in Ontario, to language teaching. The structure and characteristics of the DLI program are described, including teaching methods and aids. Russian language teachers have received training about creating lessons and instructional strategies.
