- Abstract
Objective: The objective of the research is to know the impact of the training in the detection of opportunities for the creation of enterprises of the women of the Fundación Ecuador Igualitario. Design/Methodology: This research was developed in the city of Machala, El Oro province. The methodology consisted of a descriptive analysis, with a quantitative approach. The survey was used as an instrument for collecting information. For the study, the universe made up of eighty women, who have business ideas in development, was considered. The survey made it possible to determine if these business ideas were developed from opportunities detected in the environment. The instrument applied in data collection was the survey, with a nominal response category (yes or no), also called dichotomous responses. For instrument validation, Cronbach's Alpha was determined in a pilot test, obtaining an acceptable value of 0.88. Results: The training received by the women of the Egalitarian Ecuador Foundation has generated a positive impact that allows the detection of opportunities for the creation of entrepreneurship; therefore, the training generates skills and knowledge regarding the creation of enterprises. Limitations/implications: The research is limited to the study of women from the Egalitarian Ecuador Foundation, so the study should be carried out in different groups of entrepreneurs, in order to obtain more precise data. Originality/contribution: This research, original and pioneering, was carried out in this group of entrepreneurs from Fundación Ecuador Igualitario.
